    The FRÉ Positive Beauty Awards

When Women are Strong, the World is Strong

To celebrate Women’s Day, we launched the FRÉ Positive Beauty Awards to honor and support female leaders who are making significant positive impacts in their communities and beyond.

The awards go to two registered nonprofits that focus on education, the environment, body positivity, women’s empowerment, teen/youth empowerment through movement, outdoor living, and health and wellness. We believe that supporting women who are moving the world forward is essential for positive change.

We are now thrilled to announce the recipients of our $5,000 grants: Bras for Girls and Still I Run.

    The 2025 Winners

Bras for Girls - Reducing Barriers for Girls in Sports (brasforgirls.org)

Founded with the mission to provide sports bras to young girls, Bras for Girls addresses a critical need in promoting confidence and encouraging active lifestyles. Recognizing that access to proper athletic wear can be a barrier for many, this organization has distributed over 130,000 bras to date. By ensuring that every girl, regardless of her background, has the opportunity to participate in sports comfortably and confidently, Bras for Girls fosters a sense of body positivity and empowerment from an early age.

Bras for Girls’ Founder - Sarah Lesko

“The goal of my work every day is to help girls feel more confident in their own bodies. I am a family doctor by training, with an additional public health degree, but I fully transitioned my career into leading as the Executive Director of Bras for Girls. I am also an experienced youth sports coach who recognized the intersection of physical comfort and confidence in keeping young women engaged in sports. My unique set of skills and experiences enables me to educate on health topics, body and breast development, and positive body image. In my current role, I feel that I am affecting the health of a larger number of people than I ever could as a physician. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing girls become more confident.”

Still I Run - Runners for Mental Health Awareness (stillirun.org)

Still I Run is a passionate, community-driven organization that harnesses the power of running to support mental health awareness. Built on the belief that movement—especially running—can be a transformative tool for managing mental health challenges, Still I Run offers essential resources, unwavering support, and a strong sense of belonging for those who use running as a means of healing. Through initiatives like virtual run groups, awareness campaigns, and personal storytelling, the organization works tirelessly to break the stigma surrounding mental health and highlight the profound benefits of running for emotional and psychological well-being.

    Still I Run’s Founder - Sasha Wolff

“After being hospitalized for depression and anxiety, I discovered how transformative running was for my mental health. Wanting to connect with others who ran for the same reason, I searched for a community but couldn’t find one—so I created a Facebook group to bring people together. What started as a small online space gradually gained momentum and has since grown into the first and largest nonprofit in the U.S. dedicated to the intersection of running and mental health. Today, we host events and programs that make running for mental health more accessible, inspire people to use running as a tool for their well-being, and educate them on its benefits. Through the lens of running, we also work to break the stigma surrounding mental health.”
